In the region of Cambridge, Peterborough fascinates visitors for its unique vestiges of the iron age. Discovered in the fens near the city, these objects more than three thousand years old are on show in a museum in the centre of the site. The city stands around a remarkable cathedral, Gothic-style on the outside and Romanesque inside.
