Bristol, in the northern part of Somerset not far from Bath, is an ideal place for a short stay not far from the sea. The city is very green and full of life with young, trendy quarters, an active musical scene and trendy bars and nightclubs many of which are located in former Georgian mansions. The harbour and SS Great Britain (quayside tour) hark back to the city’s glorious maritime past.
